The ICN Testnet is officially live! Phase 1 focuses on familiarizing users with the platform, allowing you to claim your first rewards (XP), and mint your exclusive ICN Testnet passport. Whether you're a newcomer to testnets or a seasoned participant, this guide will take you through each step to successfully complete Phase 1. Let's get started!

Why Participate in the ICN Testnet?

Participating in the ICN Testnet is your chance to get early access to the ICN ecosystem, claim an exclusive XP boost, win a hefty bag of ICNT tokens through our Fairdrop program, and contribute to the project’s development. Plus, it’s a valuable learning experience for those who want to engage more deeply with blockchain technology.

Step-by-Step Instructions for Completing ICN Testnet Phase 1

1. Navigate to the Testnet Page

Head over to the ICN Testnet site to get started. This is your gateway to claim rewards (XP), mint an ICN Testnet Passport, and interact with the ICN platform.

2. Connect Your Wallet

• Click “Connect wallet” on the testnet page.

• Choose your wallet provider.

• Make sure your wallet is set to the Sepolia Chain.
• Confirm the connection and sign the transaction.

3. Claim Your Reward

If you’re eligible for an OG or Early Bird Reward, click “Claim Reward” to receive it.

NOTE: If you hold the OG role, you can only claim the OG XP boost. The Early Bird XP boost is only available to WL members and OAT holders who do not have the OG role.

4. Mint Your ICN Testnet Passport

• After claiming your reward, click “Mint ICN Testnet Passport.”

• You will be redirected to the minting page. Again, connect your wallet (MetaMask -> select Sepolia Network) and sign the transaction.
• Click “Claim Test ICN Passport.” If you don’t have enough testnet ETH, you’ll need to use one of the provided faucet links to get some Sepolia ETH before proceeding. You can check out this Scribe for more information.

• Once the transaction is confirmed, click “Get Started” and follow the prompts to complete the passport minting.

5. Check and Confirm Your Passport

• After minting, go back to the Testnet page and click “Check for ICN passport.”

• If everything checks out, click “Claim Reward” to finalize the process.
